I did it! Am extremely proud and patient. Unfortunately, this site isn't particularly pretty or original (because it's a TEMPLATE), but something actually exists here now.

I had an IM conversation with Nate about why I couldn't get anything post, which went something like this:

Me: Help! Cannot post on Blogger! Is meant to come up on ClubJemma! FTP doesn't work! Don't know FTP information! Random error messages! Google won't help! SmartFTP has expired!

Nate *making what he can of this*: My internet is slow. Why has SmartFTP expired? Can you reinstall it?

Me: Huh? No? I downloaded a new version and that won't load because of another random error message.

Nate: What versions do you have?

Me: I don't know, because neither of them will open.

Nate: Well I will sort it out for you when I come over! And I will leave now! Did I mention that my internet is slow? Goodbye! You won't know that I've said goodbye until you've sent about a million more messages and then it will show me as signed out, but whatever.

Me: HELP

Me: HELP

Me: I don't know what versions I have

Me: And that's hardly the point, 'cause I only need SmartFTP to work 'cause it has my old FTP information on it and I don't know what I'm meant to enter in the fields helllllllllp

Me: Help help help

Me: Helpedy help help

Me: Help*IM window shows Nathan as signed out*

Me: GAH

Luckily I'd had the sense of mind to e-mail my friend Rusty (the one who gave me this webpage), who promptly e-mailed me back to tell me that the error had nothing to do with FTP, but probably came up 'cause I had my username and password wrong. And that was it. My username and/or password were wrong. Kill me.

But it's okay! I am here now. I have a fairly-boring template, and I HATE the word blog, but I am going to sort this out! But first I am going to post photos, 'cause I have totally sorted out how to use flickr. Am smart. And talented at web stuff.

I said about a million unpublished entries ago that I'd go paint my nails if I couldn't get this to work. Now my nails are a painted a garish colour of pink and this still isn't working. GAH
